On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, I narrowly escaped an accident, and I truly believe that God protected me.
Before leaving for work, as I do every morning, I took a moment to pray and then contacted my usual motorcycle driver.
Traffic was heavy. I asked the driver to stay behind the cars instead of slipping between the lanes, even though I was in a hurry.
When we reached Bourdon, we headed toward Canapé-Vert, but the traffic was still dense.
Then another motorcycle came speeding down the slope between the lanes instead of staying in traffic. While trying to avoid an oncoming car, it suddenly swerved toward us and hit me from behind.
With the speed it had, the impact could have thrown me forward or caused an injury. Yet I had no scratches at all. Only my skirt was torn — a small reminder that God was watching over me.
It brings to mind Psalm 91:11–12:
“For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways;
They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.”
I thank God because our prayers are never in vain.
